The North Oregon Coast is our home, and we believe that welcoming arms should be extended to everyone who wishes to see this beautiful area. When we founded Beachcomber Vacation Homes, we did so with the understanding that many travelers – families especially – have requirements for travel that traditional accommodations could not meet. And so, we strove to provide true homes away from home for visitors coming to the North Oregon Coast with our short-term Cannon Beach vacation rentals. 

In addition to offering that authentic home-away-from-home feeling for travelers, short-term vacation rentals produce tremendous economic value for the communities in which they operate. By catering to many travelers’ unique needs, Beachcomber drives valuable tourism dollars to local economies of North Oregon Coast communities. Our short-term rentals produce essential tax revenues, and our guests support residents who work in services and retail sectors by shopping at their local businesses. 

Meeting travelers’ unique needs and supporting the Cannon Beach local community are the guiding principles for why we began Beachcomber Vacation Homes. However, there is so much more to say about the value of short-term rentals at the North Oregon Coast.  

We also understand and acknowledge the concerns that some may have with short-term rentals in their communities. It is true that excess vacation rentals without regulation can cause some negative effects.
